Special Envoy of the Presidency of Central American Court of Justice for United Nations

The President of the Central American Court of Justice Cesar Ernesto Salazar Grande annnounced on the 17 october 2022 in the official letter from Managua, Nicaragua, for the Secretary General of United Nations Antonio Guterres the appointment  of David Balsa ( Switzerland, 1969 ) as his Special Envoy for United Nations. 

David Balsa was a former Special Envoy of Presidency of the Central American Parliament ( 1 september 2022 – 23 august 2022 ) and maintains an excellent relationship with regional integration institutions and national governments in the Central America and the neighboring countries.

The Special Envoy David Balsa has more than two decades of experience in the international area having developed diplomatic and cooperation  tasks on the ground in the regions of Central America, Caribbean, Balkans, Caucasus, East Africa, Middle and Far East. He has also held prominent responsibilities in various International and Central American institutions.

He holds a Degree in Geography and History from the University of Santiago of Compostela, Spain.
